The history of Villa Morélia stretches back to 1900 in Jausiers, where French emigres from Mexico and Louisiana had settled when they returned to France. These emigres left an imprint in the area, building residences and businesses that reflected their lives in their former homes, and the Villa would not be any different. The property was constructed right at the heart of a one-hectare park with a Mexican-influenced design of the period.
