12 Rue Bons Enfants, 22700 Perros-Guirec, France
While the original property dates back to 1930s, the L'Agapa Hôtel of today is very much a modern establishment with top-of-the-line amenities and comforts. Its renovation was undertaken in 2003 by owners Valérie and Antoine Dhénin, bringing the hotel into the modern world. Another more recent renovation was done in 2022, focusing on embellishments to the hotel's details and beauty.
Design and Architecture
Much of L'Agapa Hôtel is now in line with contemporary design styles, featuring tall glass panels and chic modern decor. However, the owners have also made it a point to preserve the original hotel's Art Deco aesthetics with some modern twists. This is very much apparent in the application of symmetry to both the exterior and interior aspects, emphasizing clean lines and contrasting black and white. The choice of black and white plays into a bit of Orientalism as well, creating a Yin-Yang vibe while also referencing the Breton flag.
Guests with mobility needs can book a wheelchair-friendly room at the hotel. These include features such as raised toilets and grab rails for support.
Over the years, L'Agapa Hôtel has evolved to accommodate modern conveniences, and special attention has been paid to accessibility, ensuring all guests can experience its charm without barriers. Much of the property is wheelchair accessible, and bathrooms are equipped with grab bars and handrails, providing comfort and safety without compromising the hotel's aesthetic.

Couples who wish to tie the knot in France can make the town of Perros-Guirec the setting for their wedding. The matrimonial ceremonies can be held in one of the town's historic churches, such as église Saint-Jacques, a medieval church made of locally mined granite. For the reception, the newlyweds can book the hotel's event venues, which can accommodate up to 70 people.
Cultural Experiences
Situated on the Pink Granite Coast, L'Agapa lets travelers experience the breathtaking beaches of northwestern France along with many of Bertagne's best sights. The commune of Perros-Guirec is a popular spot for seaside holidays, and has plenty of eye-catching landmarks such as the Mean Ruz Lighthouse. The neighboring communes also offer a change of scenery: Paimpol is a coastal town with many old streets and buildings, while Lannion is a large bustling commune with its own airport.
