The story of La Cedille Pondy is very much tied to the history of White Town. Together, the couple bestowed a new ambiance to the building, remodelling it into a quiet tropical sanctuary where guests can take it slow and easy.

A very distinct aspect of Indo-French style is its sleek and stylish take on Indian conventions, and La Cedille Pondy is no exception. You can find archways commonly seen in traditional Indian homes, which are also common in French architecture. Likewise, the doors and windows are also presented with French touches, both ornate and functional. These are complemented by the Indian wicker and wood furniture, providing a refreshingly idyllic and somewhat rustic theme.
