Minoru-An is a machiya that's over 100 years old, showcasing the craftsmanship and aesthetic values of the Taisho Era. Set apart from urban activity, the property provides a serene environment surrounded by greenery. As such, Minoru-An is also a tranquil retreat that reflects the country’s traditional way of living.

Minoru-An is built in a traditional Japanese architectural style, featuring a roof that combines elements of a standard irimoya structure with a design reminiscent of a Viking longhouse, creating a unique silhouette. The interior blends classic Japanese elements, including tatami mats, chabudai, floor cushions, and shoji doors, with floor-to-ceiling windows that add a modern twist. Japanese calligraphy adorns various spaces, enhancing the cultural ambiance. Overall, Minoru-An reflects a fusion of historic Japanese aesthetics and creative architectural quirks.

The cultural experiences offered by Minoru-An are centered on traditional Japanese calligraphy.
