This traditional farmhouse is about 100 years old and underwent significant renovations in 2024. The owners took care of the renovations on their own and refashioned the home with their own skills and with help from volunteers.
Design and Architecture
The property follows a minimalist edge to traditional Japanese aesthetics. The large tatami mat rooms are separated by sliding doors and shoji windows and doors. The exteriors are quite simple, with large windows and gabled roofs. The farm is another beautiful space that adds to the historic allure of the space.
