Golden Tulip Cannes began as a private mansion sitting near the beaches of Cannes, somewhere along the Azure Coast. Little did its previous owners realize that this port town would grow into a city famous around the world as a center of culture. It's even recognized as part of UNESCO's Creative Cities Network, dubbed the Creative City of Film. Aside from cinema, the city is also dotted with museums dedicated to art and history, with the best part being that Golden Tulip Cannes is conveniently close to many of these destinations.

Today, the property is part of the Golden Tulip brand, a line of luxury hotels found all over the world and integrates both modern and heritage properties. Some of their locations include the Borjomi Hotel in Georgia and Le Grand Bé in Saint-Malo.

Though the building is a heritage property, it has undergone extensive renovation and remodelling. The accommodations are all done in wholly contemporary styles, matching the aesthetics of the modern beach mansions owned by Hollywood stars. There are locations in the hotel that preserved parts of the mansion's traditional aspects; the breakfast hall and bar integrated the stone arches and alcoves, while the building's facade still depicts arched windows, a staple of neoclassical aesthetics.

For guests with mobility impairments, the hotel offers accessible rooms with wheelchair-friendly bathrooms. These include features such as grab rails, a lowered sink, and a raised toilet.

For 18 EUR (21 USD), guests can start their day with a delicious American-style buffet breakfast, served at the dining hall on the ground floor. A variety of familiar morning treats will be available, from freshly baked breads and pastries to eggs, beans, sausages, and cold cuts.
